The Music-Heals Project in association with the Vanderbilt University Brain Institute are proud to present the Nashville premiere of a new work by American composer Mike Garson entitled "Symphonic Suite for Healing".

Music lovers will witness firsthand the healing power of music at this performance. No one can deny that music has the power to heal, and now there is scientific research to support this idea. Written in collaboration with patients the, "Symphonic Suite for Healing" is a set of twelve movements of original music compositions. Featuring Mike Garson on the piano with a talented cast of musicians from the Nashville Symphony Orchestra and very special guests, with additional pieces by Paganini/Garson's Jazz Variations, Bowie/Garson's Space Oddity, Brubeck’s Blue Rondo á la Turk, and Gershwin/Garson’s Fantasia.
Proceeds from this concert will benefit the Autism research being conducted at the Vanderbilt Brain Institute in collaboration with Dr. Christopher Duma.
